Do Malabar or Grant-Valkaria require tree permits?
Both towns have light-touch codes, and most single-family removals don't need one — but the county's protections for large specimen trees can apply on the bigger lots, and both towns protect certain natives near the river. We check the parcel before we cut. Invasives are exempt everywhere.
Can you handle a five-acre lot after a hurricane?
Yes — that's what the crew, the chipper, the loader and the trailer are for. We work it in priority: hangers and anything on a structure, then the driveway and the fence lines, then the rest, in trailer loads rather than bags.
Should I take down the pines around my house?
The dying ones — thinning or browning tops, sap flows, a new lean. A healthy longleaf or slash pine with a full crown is a strong tree. On acreage we grade every pine within falling distance of a structure and take the ones that have earned it.
Can you clear the pepper along my river bank?
Yes — from the bank top, stumps treated, the native vegetation and the roots that hold the bank left alone. Nothing goes into the river.
Do you work with horse properties?
